Roots & Wings

If you haven't been by this boutique - you need to go!! It is Rockbrook Village - the owner is Brett and she has done such an amazing job with the place. I love it and her clothes are so unique and gorgeous!!! I highly recommend you guys stopping out there - they are located towards the back of Rockbrook by a bunch of other fun stores.
We have teamed up and so I grabbed a few of my favorite models, 12 outfits from Roots and Wings, and we headed downtown to the train station for a really fun shoot. I even had my Karley there with me to help with ideas!

A big family!!

I love doing shoots with big families, it is so fun to see how everyone interacts together. The mama of this family is Angela who owns a company called Visiting Angels. They provide in-home care to seniors or anyone who needs a little help with the everyday things in life. As you can tell by her family - this is her specialty!! Congratulations Nathan & Andrew!!

I did Nathan and Andrew's senior pictures and then I got to shoot their graduation party last weekend as well. They are great guys and so fun to work with - they had me cracking up the entire time. They are both going on to play college sports and I wish them the very best of luck!!!

Sweet sweet girl

This was little Julia's 2nd birthday photo shoot. It turned out sooo great - I couldn't been happier with the pictures. I grew up with her daddy and her is aunt is one of my closest friends - they are part of our "Winterburn Family". The entire family is just gorgeous and Julia was quite the daddy's girl which just couldn't have been any cuter! And a side note - her mom has a cupcake business on the side and does an amazing job!! (You can see her link to the side - Polka Dot Cake Co.) - she just did them for my daughter's party and I was amazed at how good they looked and tasted - contact her for your next party - she does custom cupcakes to whatever you want - and seriously - you can't beat the price for what you get!! We headed out to one of my favorite places for this shoot - I love it for boys because there is plenty of room to run and play!! Adrian is such a cutie and had such a goofy side!!

Sweet Sisters

I love when houses have enough natural light that we can do indoor pictures at client's homes using the window light. This house was perfect for it! It just brings so much more to the pictures when they are done in your own home. These 2 little girls were too sweet! And their mom actually said at one point "I don't even care if she is smiling or looking at the camera - I love the pictures anyways" - I couldn't agree more!! Some of my very favorite pictures are when the kids are looking away or have that somber look!

Sam

Sam is a class of 2010 rep this year. She was so fun to work with - she completely has her own personality and style and knows exactly what it is and what she wants - which makes my job easier!! She came to the shoot full of ideas - I loved it!!

Rama's fam!

I met Rama while doing the Janie and Jack shoots in Village Pointe and we went out the other day for her family's shoot. The kids were adorable and we had a gorgeous day for it! Rama also owns a kids party planning business - she does a great job and handles all the details for you - so if you are interested in finding out more - let me know!!

Ryan is actually another Class of 2010 Elkhorn Rep. He was so great during the shoot(s) that we did!!
